Unlike the conventional burs, Hedgehog Trimming Carbide Burs feature long and solid spikes designed to cut faster and resist spike clogging. They provide quick and effective cuts through resilient materials, such as VPS composites, hard dental acrylics, and stone amalgams for easy procedures.

Hedgehog burs facilitate extra-oral adjustments of dental impressions, elastomeric materials, and soft denture liners. The shank of the bur caters to the chuck of slow-speed handpieces that are also used for Long Straight Shanks (HP) to prevent bending during use.

The burs are autoclavable by 132??C/269??F to 135??C/275??F for more than 4 mins with the Pre-vacuum method or more than 15 mins with the Gravity Displacement method.
