Using the System B heat source to maintain a precise temperature during the entire procedure, the Pluggers do not oversoften the gutta-percha that fills lateral canals during apical sealing. Instant cooling occurs when pluggers are removed from heat, resulting in easy separation of condensed gutta-percha.
